Life At Tiss
Spread across several acres and two lush campuses, TISS is one institution where activities happening outside the class-room are as numerous and as instructive as the activities within it. Will to learn and will to express what one's learnt- these are the hallmark traits of every TISS student and this 'will' gets manifested in a wide array of activities ranging from quizzes to musical competitions to sports events. There are also different clubs - the movie club and the literary society, for instance-formed and run by the students to pursue their interests. The Students Union is also very active at TISS.
The picturesque greenery of the campus enamours every student. Which ever path you walk by, whichever place you visit- library, hostels, basketball court, dining hall -you would always find over your head a cool, canopy of tree leaves and branches. Another remarkable thing about TISS is the umpteen seminars and talks which are organised here; more than academic gyaan, a student gets sensitized about different critical issues of the society. Fun-filled and unique is the campus life and the GL students participate in it with great enthusiasm!
